Information and resources from the DC Department of Department of Health Care Finance for providers and beneficiaries regarding the change from CareFirst Community Health Plan, DC (CareFirst) to Amerigroup, DC (Amerigroup), effective April 1, 2023, in the District of Columbia Medicaid Managed Care (MCO) program.  This flyer provides important information for both CareFirst enrollees, as well as Medicaid beneficiaries who would like to switch to a different full-risk MCO during open enrollment, while ensuring providers have up-to- date information regarding the transition.
